LG KS360 Sliding Phone

LG KS360 is a sliding phone that features QWERTY keyboard and some technologies which can be found in high-end smartphones.

The mobile gadget features touchscreen display which is not as interactive as compared to smartphones and other Internet-enabled phones since it only works with number dialing and virtual number pad.  Also, the touch-sensitive panel only works when the slide is closed.

Despite its shortfall, the slider phone features social networking capability—making this ideal for people who want to access their accounts from anywhere and anytime.  Usually, the phone can support mainstream social platforms such as Facebook, MySpace, and Multiply (some network provides more options.

Besides from supporting social network sites, the LG KS360 can also allow users to have limited access to some online properties such as YouTube, Flickr, and other video- and photo-sharing websites.

Meanwhile, one major disadvantage of this slide phone is its lack of 3G Technology which makes the connectivity slow (this mobile gadget only features GSM, Edge, and GPRS).   Another downside is the low-pixel camera (only 2-megapixel with no flash) and its lack of impressive image editing tools and settings.

Other features are FM radio, USB interface, MP3 player, and Bluetooth Technology.

Samsung SMXC14 Digital Camcorder

Korean electronic firm Samsung recently unveiled its latest consumer device called SMXC14 Digital Camcorder that features ergonomic design for easy handling and multiple image technologies that will allow users to capture great videos and still photos.

This gadget features 10x Optical Zoom Technology integrated with Hyper Image Stabilization that prevents blurry images caused by fast-moving scenes or unsteady hands.

In terms of ergonomic design, the camcorder has a 2.7 inch swiveling LCD screen that is built near to the main chassis.  With this unique design, the users can easily see both the LCD screen and the subjects, unlike most conventional camcorders with screen that blocks the user’s sight from the environment.

In a statement, Reid Sullivan, Samsung America Audio/Video and Digital Imaging Marketing senior vice president, said that SMX-C14 camcorder has been designed to have ultra-portability, ergonomic, and stylish feature that will allow consumers to record important moments in their lives.

One of the highlights of this camcorder is the Intelli-studio that will allow users to connect the device from a computer and edit video recordings without installing any software or image editing programs.  This technology will also allow users to upload images directly to websites.

SkyNote Alpha 680 Netbook

Chinese electronic company SkyNote recently announced its new device called Alpha 680 which is a netbook that supports Google’s Android platform and features a mobile design almost comparable to a smartphone.

One of the main features of this gadget mobile is the ultra-portable design, almost the size of Internet-enabled cell phones.

In terms of screen size, the Alpha has 7-inch display (800 x 480 resolutions) which is smaller than most netbooks and bigger than smartphones.  While this feature may be a big advantage for web-centric users who are always on the go, the limited screen may not provide the best viewing experience.

Meanwhile, the mobile gadget also has Wi-Fi connectivity for fast and reliable Internet access and 3G data modem for wireless digital access.

Other features are: 533MHz ARM11 processor, up to 4GB flash memory, 128MB RAM, SDHC card slot, two USB 2.0 ports

The Alpha 680 is expected to hit the market with a price of $100 and will come in different color versions including red, white, black, yellow, and pink.  Meanwhile, the company did not provide the exact date of release since the gadget is still in prototype model.

Cube H100 Personal Media Player

Cube, a China-based electronic company, recently unveiled its latest device called H100 which is a personal media player that features multiple entertainment feature and portable design that makes this gadget mobile ideal for users who are always on the go.

One of the highlights of this gadget is the high definition capability that will allow users to watch video recordings and images. With 800 x 480 resolution display, the images will come in vivid colors and well-detailed lines.

To support multiple video recordings, the gadget mobile has been designed to be compatible with MPEG, RM, DAT, FLV, RMVB, and AVI.  With this feature, there will be no need to change the video format just to be compatible with H100 media player.

Another impressive feature is the e-book function that makes this ideal for bookworms.  But with its 5-inch screen display, reading with this limited space may cause an eye fatigue.  (So Amazon Kindle still remains the best option for book lovers)

Just like its predecessors, H100 also features built-in FM radio tuner and music player which can support a wide array of digital audio files.

Meanwhile, Cube did not provide the exact pricing details and the date of H100’s release in the North American market.

Key Fob Digital Video Recorder

Key Fob is an ultra-portable digital video recorder that features high-resolution camera which can take photos and video recordings.

One of the highlights of this gadget is the compact and lightweight design that will allow mobile users to bring this digital recorder from anywhere.  And with a total measurement of 70 x34 x 16mm and weighing approximately 34g, this gadget is the world’s smallest high grade video recorder.

In terms of video quality, the gadget can record AVI video format with a quality of 355 x 288 resolutions in 15fps and take JPEG image format with 1280 x 1024 resolutions (1.3 megapixel).

To recharge this digital recorder, users can simply connect this to a computer via USB cable (with a charging time of three to four hours).  When fully charged, the gadget can approximately last five hours which is already considered impressive since most ultra-portable recorders have shorter battery lifespan.

With a 2GB Flash memory, users can save up to 4,000 photos.  Meanwhile, one downside is that the memory is not expandable and there is also a lack of memory card reader that will allow users to save bigger video and photo files.

Panasonic Lumix FS62 Digital Camera

Electronic giant Panasonic recently unveiled its latest compact digital camera called Lumix FS62 that has 10.1-megapixel lens and features multiple image and optical technologies that will allow users to capture great photos.

This cool gadget features optical image stabilizer that corrects blurry areas in a picture which are caused by fast movements or unstable hands.  This technology is complemented with the new processing chip called Venus Engine IV Image that corrects blurry images and provides accuracy in a shot.

One of the highlights of this digital camera is the “intelligent” technologies including Face Detection function that works by recognizing up to 15 faces and automatically captures the subjects; and Digital Red Eye Correction that removes red eyes from a shot (this phenomenon happens a person’s eyes reflect the light from  the flash).

The cool gadget also provides a wide array of scene modes including portrait, night portrait, macro, and night scenery.  With these modes, the camera can accommodate every lighting condition.

One downside of this gadget is the relatively low optical zoom which is only four times.  While this may be enough for most amateur photographers, this is not substantial for people who need a wide array of depths.

According to Panasonic, the camera comes will be introduced in May.  Meanwhile, the company did not provide the exact pricing details.

Gadget4all USB Moody 3-Port Hub

Electronic firm Gadget4all has recently unveiled its latest product called USB Moody 3-Port Hub that provides multimedia functions which make this ideal as an office gadget.

One of the main highlight of this device is the built-in memo pad which allows users to write anything on its surface.  With this electronic-paper technology, the office gadget is also considered environment-friendly as people will use less paper.

Another notable feature is the built-in three USB 2.0 ports which can support compatible digital devices simultaneously such as camera, mobile phones, USB flash disk, portable music players, and other digital gadgets.

Samsung recently unveiled its latest product called 700DXN LCD monitor which is a 70-inch display that features advanced image technologies which can support high definition images complemented with crisp and clean audio.

One of the main highlights of this cool gadget is the built-in network media player that provides multiple entertainment solutions.  With these features, the monitor is ideal for hard-core gamers, Internet users, and movie-lovers.

MSI WIND NETTOP 120
